Edit resolved services in your service history

You can edit resolved services in your service history to correct errors or update when a service was performed.

Edit the date and time of a resolved service in your service history to ensure that service records accurately reflect when the work was done.

You should edit a resolved service if the service was completed at a different time than recorded, or the service was logged incorrectly.

Who can edit resolved services?

To edit resolved services, you must have one of the following roles:

  • Admin

  • Fleet Admin

  • Technician

Important before editing resolved services

  • You can only edit the most recently resolved service for each service plan.

  • Editing the service date and time will automatically update operating hours and distance data. These values cannot be manually adjusted.

  • All changes are marked as Edited in the service history for transparency.

How to edit a resolved service

  1. Go to the Service Management app.

  2. Select the asset you want to edit.

  3. Open the Services tab.

  4. In Service History, click Edit next to the resolved service.

  5. Enter the correct date and time for when the service was performed.

  6. (Optional) Add a note.

  7. Click Save update.

The service will be marked as Edited in the service history for transparency.

If you can’t edit a resolved service

  • You may not have the required user role.

  • Only the most recently resolved service per service plan can be edited.

  • Contact your account admin if needed.
