Verify is the primary tool for installing and troubleshooting your Trackunit Raw devices.
Verify is essential when confirming the installation of your Trackunit Raw device by checking the connections through data points. Additionally, it is a valuable resource for troubleshooting Raw devices that are not displaying data.
Verify combines these actions into one tool and it is essential for the successful installation and further use of your Raw devices.

What actions can I take in Verify?
In Verify, you can
Configure inputs and input filtering
Change input names
Changes metadata on your assets (brand, model, category, production date, and VIN)
Configure CAN profiles
Replace a device
Configure output mode
Configure hours / km offset
Assign an asset to a group
Assign an asset to a category
Reboot device
Note:
There are a couple of action that you should only perform in collaboration with our Customer Support team. Those actions are firmware updates of your devices, replacing a device for the first time, and rebooting a device.

Installation
Verify is your go-to place for checking and saving the installation of your Raw unit.
Configure inputs and changing settings and metadata of your device in Verify
To make changes to the device data in Verify, you will need the following user role and permissions assigned to you in Trackunit Manager:
You need access to the Entire fleet
You need Classic rights checked under
Updating rights under the module "Settings"
Updating rights under the module "Service"
If you are unable to perform these actions due to user role limitations, reach out to your account admin to update your permissions
You can configure the inputs of your device directly in Verify.
You can also edit the mileage and hours of your device in Verify.
You can also use Verify to edit parts of the metadata of your device. Scroll down to Machine Metadata and make the desired adjustments. Finish, by clicking Save Machine Metadata.
💡 Tip: You can also adjust the metadata of your device in Trackunit Manager or in the Trackunit Go app, under Specification.
Apply CAN profiles to your device
Replacing your device
If you are replacing a device for the first time, we recommend that you do it in accordance with our Customer Support team.

Rebooting your device
Reboot the device by clicking the Reboot in Verify. This will send a command to the device and force a reboot.
Rebooting a device can in some cases solve issues where a device is not performing correctly or not sending data. The reboot function should be used with caution and ideally in accordance with our Customer Support team.
