How do I check the installation and configure my Raw device in Verify?

Use Trackunit Verify to confirm your Trackunit Raw installation and update device information.

Locate your device in Trackunit Verify

  1. Sign in with your Trackunit Manager account details

  2. Enter the device's serial number and click Find



Review installation status

Ensure that the following information is correct:

  • Time of last received data

  • GPS and mobile signal

  • Mobile number

  • Power supply voltage

  • Battery voltage

  • Status of inputs 1-4

  • Check “Wired” status if CAN is enabled

Note: Click Find to refresh the status.

Device configuration

Add device information and data to reflect your asset:

  • Enter engine hours

  • Enter start distance

  • Select category

  • Add to one or more groups

  • Add a note (visible in Trackunit Manager)

  • Validate:

    • CAN profile

    • Modbus profile

    • Operating Mode

    • Relay configuration (if Access Management is enabled)


Input filtering (INFILT)

If the main breaker is installed on the negative wire, the device inputs may register a current and start counting operating hours.

To avoid this:

  • Connect digital input 4 (pink wire) to chassis/ground

  • Enable Input Filtering

Note: When Input Filtering is enabled and input 4 is active, inputs 1–3 are disabled.

All digital input alarms are disabled, including alarms on input 4.

This applies to devices ME50x or above (TU600/TU700) running firmware 63.08 or higher on the Iris gateway.


If Input Filtering is enabled, it appears as Pending in Verify until updated.

Save and install a device

  1. Sign in with your Trackunit Manager account

  2. Enter your device's serial number and click Find

  3. Scroll down to find and click the Save and install

This creates a timestamp under Unit Info of when the device was installed.

Note: Clicking Save only will save your settings but will not create an installation timestamp. When you click Save and install, all applied settings are saved and Verify creates an installation timestamp at the top of the page under Unit Info.

Save and uninstall a device

If a device is removed from an asset and placed in stock, you can uninstall it.

  1. Sign in with your Trackunit Manager account

  2. Enter your device's serial number and click Find

  3. Click Save and uninstall

This creates an uninstall timestamp under Unit Info

Note: Installing or uninstalling a device does not affect its subscription.
