Creating an account in the On app

Learn how to create an account in the On app to use it for asset unlocking, and completion of inspection templates.

Access Management ensures that only authorized individuals can operate specific assets, enhancing security and preventing unauthorized usage.

The Trackunit On app plays a key role in enabling Access Management by allowing you, as an operator, to easily authenticate yourself and gain access to assigned assets directly from your smartphones.

Getting started in the On app

Start by downloading the On app and creating an account

  1. Download the On app for Android, or IOS

  2. Open the app and tap Create an account.

  3. Enter your full name (your name will be visible to your organization).

  4. Enter your phone number.

  5. Await a code via SMS.

  6. Confirm your phone number with the SMS code.

  7. Create a password for your account.

  8. Enable Bluetooth and Location.

Joining your Organization

If you have already been added as an operator by your organization, the invitation to join your organization will pop up automatically when you create your account.

Alternatively, you can find the invitation in the app menu:

  1. Tap on Menu in the bottom right corner.

  2. Tap on Organizations.

  3. Tap on View next to the organization.

  4. Tap Join now.

Note:

If you don’t see an automatic pop-up to join your organization when logging in and there are no invitations under the "Organizations" tab, it means you haven’t been added to any organization yet.

In this case, you’ll need to:

  1. Contact your Trackunit Manager account admin to have them assign assets to you as an operator.

  2. Alternatively, reach out to your immediate manager. If they are designated as a Key Admin, they can also assign assets to you in Trackunit Manager.

Next Steps

Now you can use the on app to unlock assets or complete inspections.
