The OEM official Service Plan will only be visible to asset owners to assign assets that match the brand and model assigned to the service plan. The asset owner will see a label on the service plan stating that it is an OEM official Service Plan.
Publish an OEM official Service Plan
Click on the Service Management app
Click on Configuration
Click on Manage Service Plans
Find the plan you want to publish and click the Publish button
Select the Brand from the dropdown menu
The Model dropdown will populate based on the Brand selected. Multiple models can be added to a single service plan. A minimum of 1 model is required to publish the plan
Click Publish
💡 Tip: You can publish a service plan with multiple brands and models. Click on the “+” to add models from a different brand. You can also edit the publication once published if there is a need to add/remove brands or models to the service plan
Note: A model can only be assigned to one OEM official Service Plan.
Unpublish an OEM official service plan
You can unpublish a plan if it is no longer valid and should not be recommended to asset owners. Unpublishing a plan means that the plan is no longer available for assignment - unless it is also in your Service Network.
If the plan is assigned to any assets at the time of unpublishing, it will still be assigned to the machine and the asset owner will be able to continue to use the plan, however if they unassign the plan, they will not be able to reassign the plan. There will also be a label on the plan stating that is it an Unsupported plan.
Click on the Service Management app
Click on Configuration
Click on Manage Service Plans
Find the published plan you want to unpublish and click Edit Publication
Click on Delete publication.
Note: Deleting a publication does not delete the service plan nor does it remove it from your service network.
