Logistics Logging Alerts monitor your fleet’s movement in real time, alerting you when equipment arrives at or departs from a specified site.
This alert ensures seamless tracking of deliveries and transfers across sites, automatically logging the event in your asset history for better inventory oversight and operational efficiency.
Logistics Logging Alerts are available on the Expand and Evolve plans. If you do not see the option to create a Logistics Logging Alert, reach out to your Trackunit representative.
You'll need to be Admin or Fleet Admin to create alerts. Read more about user roles and permissions, here
You must first create a Site before you set up Logistics Logging Alerts.
Set up Logistics Logging Alerts in Trackunit Manager
Sign in to Trackunit Manager
Go to the Alerts app
Click Create new alert
Select Logistics Logging Alert and click Next
Select if the alert should trigger when the asset arrives or asset departs the specified site
Select which site the alert should trigger for and click Next
Select the entire fleet, group(s) or specific assets that you want to monitor and click Next
Optional: Select the people to be notified* when the alert is triggered and click Next
Enter a Name for the alert
Review the alert configuration and click Create alert
*Note: The people you select to be notified when an alert triggers will be notified via email only. Currently it is not possible to notify people when an alert is triggered via SMS.
