How do I select language, time zone, and system of measurement in my account settings?

Change language settings, set preferred time zone, and choose system of measurement in your profile preferences.

You can select language, time zone, and measurement system in your profile preferences. These settings apply only to your specific profile.

Profile preferences

  1. Sign in to Trackunit Manager

  2. Click on your profile name in the lower left corner

  3. Select Preferences from the drop-down menu

  4. Under the Language & Region tab, you will see the available settings

Language settings

Select your preferred language from the drop-down menu. Trackunit Manager is available in the following languages:

American English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Thai.

Time zone settings

You can set your time zone to match either the time zone of your assets or your browser location. Alternatively, you can choose any time zone from the drop-down menu.

  • Based on my asset’s location: This time zone setting uses the time zone of your asset's last known location. If the asset's location is unknown, the system will use the time zone from the user’s current location.

  • Based on my location: This time zone setting uses your current location’s time zone.

  • Based on specific location: This time zone setting uses the time zone from a location selected from the drop-down list.

Note: Changing your time zone setting will affect the daily utilization data and Machine Insights data chart in Trackunit Manager.

Time format settings

You can switch between the 12-hour format, and the 24-hour format.

You can also base it on your selected language. If your Trackunit Manager profile language is set to Danish, German, or Japanese, the 24-hour format will be used automatically. All other languages are set to the 12-hour format.

Measurement settings

You can choose between Metric and US Customary as your system of measurement.
