The new flow for resolving services improves how you review and complete asset services in Trackunit Service Management.
Resolving services is a routine task and a critical step in maintaining asset uptime. Previously, completing a service could require navigating between different screens to review details and take action.
Resolve services in one continuous flow
With the Upcoming services panel, service information and resolution actions are brought together in a single, streamlined flow. This reduces unnecessary navigation and clicks and makes it easier to stay focused as you move from one service to the next.
This improvement helps you:
Spend less time switching between screens
Maintain context while resolving services
Work more efficiently when handling multiple services
Clear service queues with less friction
This update is designed for service managers, coordinators, and operations teams who resolve services regularly and need a faster workflow.
How to resolve a service with the new flow
From Trackunit Manager, navigate to the Service Management app.
Click on the asset you want to resolve a service for. This will open the Upcoming services panel.
In the Upcoming services panel, you can scroll up and down to find the service you want to resolve. Click on Resolve —> Perform.
Note: If the option to “Resolve” is greyed out, you are not the service provider of that asset. Log in with the service provider account, or assign your account as the service provider
4. Make adjustments to the date and time of the service, and add notes or documentation if needed.
5. Click Perform
💡 Tip: If you need additional information about the asset, you can click on the asset name in the service window. This will take you to Asset Home which includes all information about the asset.
