How do I work with the Attention List in Trackunit Manager?

Learn how to use the Attention List in Trackunit Manager to identify assets and events that require your review.

Updated this week

The Attention List allows you to browse your entire fleet in the context of alerts, log events, faults, service events, inspections, and other types of activities, which might be important to you in your daily tasks.

You can access the Attention List from the navigation bar on the left side.

Each row in the table represents a specific event, and, by default, only events with an “Open” or “Critical” status are shown on your attention list.

  • Open events are currently active and have not been resolved.

  • Critical events indicate that an asset needs immediate attention. These may be system-generated (for example, CAN faults) or user-defined (for example, a theft alert marked as critical).

Other triggers for critical status can include operator-reported issues or overdue services.

Attention List view switch

You can switch between two key perspectives on the Attention List:

  1. Event Log View (Events) – This view shows a list of critical events sorted by occurrence, which allows you to monitor each event individually with timestamp and asset details.

💡 Tip: The Event Log view is best if you want to focus on incident history.

  2. Asset View (Assets) – Groups events by assets, giving you an overview of how many critical events are associated with each asset, along with the latest activity timestamp.

💡 Tip: The Asset view is best if you want to focus on asset health.

This switch is controlled by the Events / Assets buttons located in the top-right corner of the screen, just beside the date range selector.

Filtering the Attention List

You have several filtering options you can use to customize what you want to see in the Attention List.

You can filter for a specific time frame by clicking on the time selection in the top-right corner.

You can also click on the Filter icon to filter for Status, Criticality, Event Type, Groups, Sites and Customers.

You can also click the Columns icon on the far left to customize the table layout by toggling columns on or off based on your preferences.

It's possible to customize your table view even further. Check out this article to learn how to customize tables across Trackunit Manager
