Using the Map in Trackunit Manager

Have a look at our brand new Map experience in Trackunit Manager and find out how to help shape the future of Map.

Updated over 2 months ago

We are happy to share that we are making significant enhancements to your Map experience in Trackunit Manager. These enhancements will help you access high-level asset information directly in the Map - all driven by your valuable feedback.

You’ll encounter the Map first thing, when you log into Trackunit Manager. It will also be pinned as the very first app on the navigation bar on the left side.

What is new in the Map?

  • Full screen Map view as landing page in Trackunit Manager

Have a better and wider view of your assets and sites, as the Map now occupies a large portion of your screen and is the first thing you see when you log into Trackunit Manager.

  • New and improved cluster and viewing logic

Updated display of asset clusters on the Map: Only assets are now shown in clusters, with site clustering removed, making Map contents clearer and more accessible.

  • Search for assets directly on the Map

A new search field, next to the Map filters, helps you search directly on the Map and filter your results for more precision.

  • Search for a specific address/location on the Map

See which assets are in/close to a specific street address or location. This is ideal if you want to go to a specific place on the Map, just type it in and it’ll take you there.

  • Sidebar asset list to display relevant information about the assets visible on the Map

Get an overview of your assets right on the Map. You’ll see that overview of all the assets in the Map area you are viewing. If you move around on the Map, the asset list will update accordingly.

  • Removing the widgets on the existing Fleet Home

In order to get the full-screen impact of the Map, there is no longer room for widgets at the bottom. But you can now pin your most frequently used apps in the left-hand navigation with our new navigation changes
