Locate your device in Trackunit Verify
Go to Trackunit Verify
Use your Trackunit Manager account details to sign in.
Enter your device's serial number and click Find.
Review installation status
Ensure that the following information is correct:
Time of last received data
GPS and mobile signal
Mobile number
Power supply voltage
Battery voltage
Status of inputs 1-4
Note: Click "Find" to refresh the status.
Device configuration
Add device information and data to reflect your machine or vehicle:
Enter engine hours
Enter start distance
Select category
Connect up to multiple groups
Add a note (visible in Trackunit Manager)
Input filtering (INFILT)
The device inputs may register a current and count operating hours if the main breaker is on the negative wire. Connect the digital input 4 (pink wire) to chassis/ground and activate Input Filtering to avoid this situation.
Note: Enabling the filtering function will disable inputs 1 to 3 when input 4 is on/active. This can prevent all digital input alarms. It will also disable the use of any alarm function on digital input 4.
Note: this applies to devices ME50x or above (TU600/TU700), that are operating on firmware version 63.08 or higher, and are running on the Iris gateway.
You can see pending updates in Verify. If Input Filtering has been toggled on it will display as Pending.
Once you have installed and configured a device in Trackunit Verify, it is recommended to click Save and Install.
When you click Save and Install, all applied settings will be saved and an installation timestamp will be created at the top of the page under Unit Info. With this timestamp you can confirm that a device has been installed, as well as the time and date the installation happened.
Save and install a device
Go to Trackunit Verify
Use your Trackunit Manager account details to sign in
Enter your device's serial number and click Find
Scroll down to find and click the Save and install button.
This action will create a timestamp of when the device was installed.
Note: If you chose to only click Save and not Save and Install, the device will still work as intended and the applied settings will be saved, but the timestamp will not be created
Until you click Save and Install, the text Unknown installation date will shown under Unit Info.
Save and uninstall a device
If a device is removed from a machine and put in stock, you can uninstall it.
Go to Trackunit Verify
Use your Trackunit Manager account details to sign in
Enter your device's serial number and click Find
Scroll down to find and click the Save and uninstall button.
This action will create a timestamp of when the device was uninstalled.
Note: Neither clicking install nor uninstall will impact the subscription status of a device. To cancel a subscription, you need to contact our Revenue & Billing team at revenueandbilling@trackunit.com (Terms & Conditions apply).
