The new layout enhances usability by providing easier access to key features. All are grouped into four primary sections: Core, Apps, Configure, and Admin/User.
Here’s an overview of what’s new and how to make the most of these changes:
Navigation overview
Core section:
The Core section consolidates the most frequently used tools, ensuring that essential features like Map, Assets, Sites, and Search are always accessible at the top of the navigation bar. This reorganization places your go-to features within easy reach.
Apps section:
The Apps section provides quick access to specific apps based on your operational needs, such as Fleet Inventory, Access Management, and Emissions Reporting. Here, you can toggle the visibility of different Iris applications and pin your most-used apps for fast access. Click on Application to select which installed apps to pin.
Configure section:
The Configure section enables you to customize and optimize your Trackunit Manager experience by setting up tools and features that enhance functionality, streamline information access, and improve workflow across the platform.
Admin/User section
The Admin/User section provides access to all account-related settings and user preferences. Here, you can adjust personal settings, review notifications in the Attention List, and access Support resources.
Note: Your profile settings have moved to the bottom left corner. Click there to adjust language, timezone and metrics settings.
Name, and iconography changes
We are also refining a few names and icons for a clearer, and more intuitive navigation.
Home → Map
The previous "Home" or "Fleet Home" is now referred to as Map. This newly named landing page displays a full-width, full-height map, providing an expansive view to help you navigate your fleet easily. Read more about navigating in Map here
Fleet → Assets
"Fleet" or "My Fleet" is now Assets, featuring a new icon. Under Assets, you can view a complete list of your equipment, apply filters, and conduct specific searches.
Sites icon
The Sites icon now represents a marked-off area for clearer recognition. If you’ve used Classic Manager, you may recognize this icon from the legacy Zones and Points of Interest features. Learn how to convert Zones and Points of Interest to Sites.
Attention List icon
Previously located in the top bar, the Attention List has been moved to the left-side menu with a new icon. This list alerts you to both urgent and non-urgent events involving your assets.
Manager Classic → Classic Manager
"Manager Classic" has been renamed Classic Manager. Note that we will be phasing out Classic Manager in 2025.
A new placement of Support button
You can now access the Support button at the bottom left of the navigation. Through the Support button, you can directly access the Messenger chat, Community, or go straight to the Help Center.
Help shape the future of the Navigation
From the 13th of November we will run a 2 week beta test group that gets exclusive access to the Navigation before it is public. Are you interested in joining this beta test and give feedback on your experience? Click here to sign up for the beta test of the new Navigation in the Community
