When you share visibility of assets with accounts outside your own account hierarchy, the recipient account will receive a request to accept the assets. This way the recipient account can control the traffic of assets coming into their account. Both sender and receiver of requests can review them in Trackunit Manager.
Review request sent by you
Log into Trackunit Manager
Go to the Administration app
Navigate to the Ownership & Visibility tab
Click Pending requests to review the list of all pending request
The requests labelled Outgoing are requests sent by you
Select an individual request to see more details like which account the request is sent to, and the number and types of assets shared
Click Revoke, if a request should no longer be available for the receiving account to accept or decline
Requests that have been processed, will be stored under Resolved state
This list will also include the status column indicating if a request was accepted, declined or revoked.
Review requests sent to you
Log into Trackunit Manager
Go to the Administration app
Navigate to the Ownership & Visibility tab
Click Pending requests to review the list of all pending request
The requests labelled Incoming are requests waiting your resolution
Click on an individual request to see details on which account the request comes from, number of assets, and what types of assets the request contains
Click Decline or Accept
Requests that have been processed, will be stored under Resolved state
This list will also include the status column indicating if a request was accepted, declined or revoked
When you accept the request, the assets will appear in your account in the list of visible assets. Declining the requests will prevent the assets from appearing in your account.
