Review pending sharing of visibility requests

Manage visibility and asset transfer requests in Trackunit Manager. Review, accept, decline, or revoke requests from or to other accounts.

When you share asset visibility outside your account hierarchy, the recipient must accept the request. This ensures they control which assets appear in their account. Both parties can manage requests in Trackunit Manager.


Review requests sent by you

Log in to Trackunit Manager

  1. Go to the Administration page at the bottom of the navigation bar

  2. Navigate to the Ownership & Visibility tab

  3. Click Pending requests to see all requests awaiting action

    • Requests labeled Outgoing are those you’ve sent

  4. Select an individual request to view details such as:

    • The receiving account

    • Number and types of assets shared

  5. Click Revoke if a request should no longer be available for the receiving account to accept or decline

    • Processed requests are moved to the Resolved state

    • The Status column will indicate if a request was Accepted, Declined, or Revoked

Review requests received by you

Log in to Trackunit Manager

  1. Go to the Administration page at the bottom of the navigation bar

  2. Navigate to the Ownership & Visibility tab

  3. Click Pending requests to see all incoming requests

    • Requests labeled Incoming are those awaiting your action

  4. Click an individual request to view:

    • The sending account

    • Number and types of assets included

  5. Click Decline or Accept

    • Processed requests are moved to the Resolved state

    • The Status column will indicate if a request was Accepted, Declined, or Revoked

      Note: When you accept a request, the shared assets will appear in your account. Declining a request prevents those assets from being added to your visible asset list.
