Timezone settings

Choose your preferred timezone and if data should be displayed based on your or your assets location.

What timezone setting should I chose?

Understanding asset data in timelines can become challenging if you are located in a different time zone than the asset. The solution is to switch between the timezone of your asset's location, your location, or select a specific location.

  • Based on my asset’s location: This timezone setting uses the time zone of your asset's last known location. If the asset's location is unknown, the system will use the timezone from the user’s current location.

  • Based on my location: This timezone setting uses your current location’s timezone.

  • Based on specific location: This timezone setting uses the timezone from a location selected from the Location drop-down list.

Note: Changing your timezone setting will affect the daily utilizations data and Machine Insights data chart in Trackunit Manager.

Measurement settings

Select Metric or US Customary.

Your selection will affect:

  • Machine Insights

  • Specification

  • Events

Time format settings

It is currently not possible to manually switch between the 24-hour format and the AM/PM format. By default, all times are displayed in the AM/PM format.

However, if your Trackunit Manager profile language is set to Danish, German, or Japanese, the 24-hour format will be used instead.
