The LED indicators on my M-Series device are not functioning:

If you find that the LED Indicators on your M6, M7 or M8 devices are not working, please check the following:

  • Check the device’s wiring to ensure that the wires are connected correctly, intact, and in good condition

  • Run the machine’s engine uninterrupted for at least 30 minutes to charge the device’s battery and wake it from sleep mode

My M-Series device is not communicating data to the telematics platform:

If the device is not communicating data to the telematics platform (e.g., Trackunit Manager, ONE i3), try the following:

  • Make sure that the device is mounted in a location with an unobstructed view of the sky

  • Make sure that the device is not mounted around heavy metals

  • Try repositioning the machine

  • Turn the machine’s engine off and wait until all LED Indicators turn off, restart the engine, and leave it running uninterrupted for at least 30 minutes

My M-Series device is not updating or reporting machine GPS location data:

If the device is not updating/reporting machine GPS location data, try the following:

  • Make sure that the device is mounted in a location with an unobstructed view of the sky

  • Check the device’s external antenna to ensure that the wires are connected correctly, intact, and in good condition

  • Try repositioning the machine

My M-Series device is not communicating run hour data:

If the device is not updating/reporting machine run hour data, try the following:

  • Run the machine’s engine uninterrupted for at least 30 minutes

  • Make sure that the device is mounted in a location with an unobstructed view of the sky

  • (If installed) Check the inline fuses

  • Ensure the Engine Run (White) wire receives 12V to 24V DC on combustion engine equipment or up to 48V on electric machines when the engine is running (On)
